I’ve Had Enough

I’ve had it.  I can;t take it anymore.  All my friends have children except for me.  Why me?  Why can’t I conceive?  All I want is a baby and I cannot have one.  I feel like a failure.  A total failure.  We’ve tried everything, but still nothing.  We don;t want to adopt, but maybe that is the only answr.  I just don’t know.

Marital Harmony: The Key to Fertility

Although many people who have fertility problems tend to start their marriages in the proper way, they begin to deteriorate as time goes by and with this the chances of successful conception dim.  Proper ovualtion is dependent on emotional stability and holistic make-up.  Marital harmony is key in this endevor.

Focusing on Fertility

When someone is suffering from infertility there is the usual reaction of inner isolation, where as the person (usually the woman) feels the daily onslaught of others with kids.  The reaction that will be least effective when confronted with theses moments is to redouble the focus on infertility.  I believe there is a simple solution to this regressive mindset.  Switch from focusing on infertility to focusing on fertility. It is never productive to focus on what you don’t have.  This is why it is important to always getting ready and prepared to conceive.  Try to view your lack of a child as “it isn’t my time yet.”  This isn;t a direct solution to infertility, but will for sure aid the process towards conception.

Fertility Tips: Not Rushing It

Sometimes when we fail to conceive over an over again, we begin to panic and then to lose hope.  A lot fertility is about proper ovulation, yet because ovualtion is really tied to a woman’s hormones her mental state can in fact affect her ovulation.  One important fertility tip is not to rush into any fals conclusions.  Depression, even mild and somewhat justified can have adverse effects on a woman’s ovulational ability.  So cheer up and relax.

High Prolactin: A Fertility Nightmare

High Prolactin is one of the foremost ovulationary reasons behind infertility. High Prolactin essentially tricks the body into thinking that the woman is already pregnant or nursing, rendering ovulation nil.  Of course with proper treatment high prolactin is 100% reversible within 9 weeks of the beginning of medication.

Alternative Infertility Treatments

I know I have posted about this before, but I’ll say it again: try everything.  If haveing a baby is important then you’ll go to yoga classes, learn mediatation, get acupuncture, change your diet, and pray. None of these things I just mentioned are proven, but neither are they dangerous or not proven.  So get started.

Fertility Triumph

Our friend Jill and Ben went three years without giving birth and now they have a beautiful baby boy they have named Bo.  It was their second try with IVF and it worked. We are hoping their success will rub off on us, after all we’ve een waiting a little longer.

Fertility Charts

My friend told me that she and her husband were having problems conceiving. It had been 2 years and still they had seen no child. I asked her if she knew her ovulation date. She replied- no. I told her to keep track of her menstruation cycle and to keep a monthly calendar detailing approximately 2 weeks before her menstruation begins. I explained that each month there is a heightened time period where fertility is higher. She began immediately. That was 4 months ago and now they are expecting.

Something so simple yet many times over looked.

Signing up for our Infertility Solution: Adoption

Adoption. It isn’t as bad as I am making it out to be to myself. There is a part of me that feels like a failure that signing up for adoption means our infertility treatments have failed, but my husband reminds me that it is a long wait for the adoption to be approved so in the mean time we will keep on trying and praying.
